Call to Worship Music: “Hello Everybody”
Call to Worship (based on Psalm 133)
One: How wonderful it is when God’s people live together in peace.
All: Thank you, God!
One: It’s like being anointed with precious, perfumed oil, poured over our heads, running over our
clothes!
All: Thank you, God!
One: It’s fresh and green, like the mountains and the land covered with morning dew!
All: Thank you, God!
One: God blesses us and gives us life that never ends!
All: Thank you, God!
One: As we continue the joyful celebration of Easter, let us worship God!
Opening Prayer
It is a joy to come before you, O God, in the light of the empty tomb. It is a joy to know that, even
when we have doubts, still you have patience with us, and you gently wait for our faith to grow. Give
us that same patience, we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.

OUR LORD’S PRAYER, IN UNISION
Our Father/Mother/Creator, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

WELCOME & PRAYER
Holy One, we do not doubt that Jesus, the Messiah, lives again. Yet only one short week from Easter,
our thoughts are cluttered with finite, insignificant activities and agendas. Instead of remaining
focused on the abundance of divine transformation, we return to a pessimistic mindset of scarcity.
Refocus our attention on the joy of Easter, so that we may recognize all that we have received and be
led to give cheerfully. We pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
